Burning Sky

Burning Sky is one of the British breweries that we respect most and we always get excited about a new release. We currently have ten of their beers on the shelves and here they are.

Saison Le Printemps 4.2%

“Saison Le Printemps has been brewed to celebrate springtime and the feelings of awakening the season brings. A combination of noble and new world hops and subtle spicing complements our saison yeast strain. After fermentation the beer is lightly dry hopped for added zest.”

Pretty Mess IPA 7.0%

“Pretty Mess is full of juicy, fruity aroma hops. Innocent and playful, it crosses boundaries to create an eminently drinkable modern IPA.”

Saison Automne 4.2%

“Every year the hedgerow’s around the brewery are laden with berries. We use thereto infuse this saison, giving subtle perfume and an enticing colour to the beer. Fermented with our house saison, brettonamyces and lactobacillus yeast strains, you can enjoy this beer now, or let it age.”

Blanche Witbeir 4.5%

“Blanche is inspired by the classic Belgian witbier tradition. This clean drinking beer is zesty, aromatic and lightly spiced for optimum summertime refreshment.”

Saison Anniversaire 7.0%

“Brewed just once a year, Anniversaire is a celebration of everything we at Burning Sky love about saisons. Lightly spiced in the boil, this special edition beer was fermented and aged entirely in French Chardonnay barriques using our house saison and a blend of wild yeast strains.”

“Mark Tranter (Burning Sky) and Kelly Ryan (Fork Brewing) are Les Amis Du Brassage

This is the third beer that they have intuitively collaborated on. After three years of oak aging, a beautiful mixed-fermentation Saison emerged, which was then blended with a portion of three year old lambic. Dry and oaky with subtle fruit and spicing to the fore, we believe that this beer is well worth the wait.” 6.2%

Saison Reserve 7.5%

“This beer is a special release of our Saison a la Provision. To the already aged saison, we added a large quantity of whole gooseberries and continued to age in foudre for a further two months. The resulting beer is a sharp, fruity, funky-flavoured delight!”

Burial Vault 8.4%

“Bashing out ideas with 3 Floyds Brewing Co. we found solace in this White Stout. A huge grain bill was rounded off with some lactose in the kettle for softness. Aged in a mix of Burgundy and Bourbon barrels for a deep oak and subtle violet flavour.”

Petite Saison 3.5%

“This mixed fermentation saison is a light and easy drinking small beer. Aged in white wine barrels, this delicate beer was then dry hopped for a refreshing finish before bottling.”

Monolith 8.0%

“This dark beer was aged for one year in a red wine foudre with wild yeast strains. The result is full of chocolate and vinous oak flavours, with pleasing farmhouse aromas and mild acidity.”
